It seems my internet connection is not the most stable. That may change soon, as there's a new system going in at my building, and I am planning on getting on board. They just have to do some wiring, and hopefully all will be well with the world (wide web).

I've decided I'd best keep up with the news- otherwise, we're just wasting electrons with this page. It seems the high bandwidth feed has been down for some months- but it'll hopefully be back up soon. Our server mistress has the resources in hand to get the server repaired, so it shouldn't be TOO much longer now.

There will be some new tunes in rotation when we're back. Just this weekend, I added some new stuff from Reptile Palace Orchestra, Enter The Haggis, and Xavier Cougat. Enjoy.

Howdy..

I just saw a concert by a brilliant fellow and fabulous musician, David LaMotte. It was the first time I'd seen him since 1997, so I was overjoyed to be able to go. David (in his usual warm, giving way) agreed to do a couple of station IDs for S9. Tonight, I've added those IDs tagged onto 'Hope' and 'Flying'. In addition, I've also added a few more of his tunes:

Howdy... Just a quick note to let you know I got in the new CD from Luka Bloom the other day, and a couple of tracks will be up soon. I think you'll particularly like No matter you go, there you are. Cliche name, but fabulous song. Primavera is also grand! I also have a snippet of Luka and the gang doing a rousing rendition of Larry Redicon's Bow...and I'm trying to get a longer recording.
